Thank you for answering the 999 call for the NHS. More than 55,000 people marched in Manchester on Sunday 29 September 2013 to defend the NHS and say no to austerity. Thank you to all the branches and activists for mobilising members to attend and to those who joined us on the Unison train or one of a number of coaches that travelled to Manchester. Greater London region can be proud of our contribution - we had a great attendance, were well organised and worked together to create a sea of purple.
Saving the NHS won't be done in a day. We still need your support next week, next month, next year because the situation remains critical.
